Overstone Park GC Seniors​

We played BH for the second time this week. Having knocked them out of the County Cup on Monday we were expecting a bit of a backlash. The smell of revenge was in the air as we met up for tea/coffee and the Chiv-provided biscuits.

Great weather and the course in good condition provided the perfect backdrop for some great golf

The results are shown below with our team winning another close match by 45 to 41 (cumulative 133 to 122)

We even won 4.5 to 3.5 in old money 😊

 

Nearest the pin was again on the 13th for both teams, I was playing against their winner, Iain Ryan, who hit a beautiful drive to land on the green just a few feet from the pin - a classic golf shot.

Our winner was Jim Morton, apparently he went through the bunker hitting a rake on the way to deflect the ball onto the green - a classic Overstone Seniors shot 😂
