Overstone Park GC Seniors​

Welcome to the Seniors

 

We pride ourselves in having one of the most popular, active and well run Seniors Section in the county. We currently have well over 100 members. To join you must be a member of Overstone Park Golf Club (full or 5 day week member), be over 55 years old and have a valid handicap (34 or less).  We welcome women as well as men.

We have members ranging from 55 to over 90 years young and from all walks of life. We are here to enjoy a game of golf, each others company and to have fun. No one takes themselves too seriously and we all enjoy a good bit of banter.

We have ‘roll up’ competitions (pound in the pot) on Monday and Friday mornings (often with over 30 people rocking up) and we join in the club competitions each Wednesday plus our own. We also have on average one match each week from Spring through to Autumn against other local golf clubs both home and away.

Each July we have a mid week away break where we go away to another course for a couple of nights, three rounds of golf and a few beers. Here we have daily competitions and an overall competition where we present an ill fitting green jacket to the winner. This summer we are going to Greetham Valley.
